Claudia is a clinical psychologist trained in Australia and Singapore. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly dealing with a wide array of presentations in hospital and private clinical settings. She started her career as a volunteer at Lifeline in Australia, where she gained extensive experience in working with individuals who struggle with difficulties such as stress, addictions, mood disorders, self harm, suicidal ideations.
Special interests include working with individuals who find it challenging to maintain interpersonal relationships, whether with friends, family or spouses. Her other interests include mood and anxiety disorders, in particular Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Social Anxiety. Claudia also likes working with individuals with personality disorders, in particular narcissistic and borderline. In addition, Claudia enjoys working with children who struggle with disorders such as ADHD, Asperger’s, and Mood and Anxiety Disorders. She is also experienced in conducting child assessments.
The world around us is fast-paced and continually changing, therefore it is natural that at times we face challenges as we strive to fit in our rapidly changing environments.
Claudia takes into consideration the unique circumstances and cultural nuances of each individual’s coming to therapy. Claudia believes that therapy is a safe space where one can be oneself, listened to attentively, non-judgmentally, and in confidentiality.
Claudia has an eclectic approach to therapy, utilising techniques from CBT, ACT, DBT, SFT, Schema therapy, Family Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and psychoanalysis. She can provide therapy in English, French, Romanian, and Italian.
