Consultation Fees

We believe that high-quality psychological care should be transparent and clearly explained.

Our consultation fees reflect the qualifications, experience, and professional standards of our clinicians, as well as the time and care involved before and after each session.

You may share with us your concerns/requirements for us to assist you specifically to your needs.

  • Clinical / Counselling Psychologist:

    60 minutes — $239.00 to $392.40 (incl. GST)

    90 minutes — $359.70 to $474.15 (incl. GST)

    Associate Psychologist:

    60 minutes — from $141.70 (incl. GST)

A different fee applies for diagnostic assessments or psychological testing.

  • Psychological, psychometric, and neurodevelopmental assessments are priced separately from therapy sessions.

    These services typically include:

    • Clinical intake and history taking

    • Standardised test administration

    • Scoring and interpretation

    • Comprehensive written report

    • Feedback or results discussion session

The total fee reflects the psychologist’s professional time as well as the cost of standardised test materials.

If you require a quotation for specific assessments (e.g., ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, cognitive testing), please contact our support team for guidance.

  • As a private psychology practice, we do not receive government subsidies, and MediSave or MediShield Life cannot be used for psychotherapy sessions.

Some private health insurance plans may cover psychotherapy or assessment sessions. Please check directly with your insurer regarding your policy coverage, as we are unable to verify this on your behalf.

For subsidised options, clients may consider government hospitals or community mental health facilities, which offer partial funding for psychological services.

How Fees Are Determined

Therapy fees reflect more than the time spent in session. Each consultation includes the professional expertise and preparation necessary to deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care.

Our fees account for:

  • The clinician’s training, qualifications, and supervision

  • Clinical documentation, formulation, and treatment planning between sessions

  • Correspondence and coordination with other professionals (e.g., doctors, schools)

  • Practice and administrative overheads, including professional insurance and continuing education

Maintaining ethical, effective clinical care requires ongoing learning, supervision, and professional development — all of which are built into our standards of practice.

For example:

  • Clinical and Counselling Psychologists hold advanced postgraduate degrees and manage diagnostic, complex, and evidence-based treatment cases.

  • Counsellors and Art Psychotherapists focus on emotional wellbeing, life transitions, and creative therapeutic processes.

  • Associate Psychologists provide accessible care under clinical supervision, maintaining the same ethical and procedural standards.
