Registered Psychologist (Singapore)
Cherie is a registered psychologist in Singapore with over six years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and children in both hospital and primary care settings.
She supports individuals experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns, including Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Insomnia, Stress- and Trauma-related Difficulties. She has a particular interest in Perinatal Mental Health and has worked with clients navigating pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and the challenges of early parenthood. Her clinical work often involves helping individuals manage life stressors such as family dynamics, academic or work pressures, caregiver demands, burnout, interpersonal conflict, and self-esteem challenges.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused interventions, and mindfulness-based strategies.
With warmth and empathy, Cherie creates a safe and collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported. She believes in empowering individuals to reconnect with their values and strengths, and to develop practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.
Cherie is also trained in the administration of psychological assessments for children and adolescents to support their emotional, learning, and developmental needs.
Outside of work, Cherie enjoys finding joy in life’s simple moments—spending time with loved ones, preparing homemade meals for her family, and exploring local spots.
Cherie provides therapy in English and conversational Mandarin.
