Wendy is a Certified Gottman Therapist, the first Asian couple therapist in Singapore to be certified in the Gottman Method. She is also a Prepare Enrich trainer and facilitator. She previously practised as a Certified Attachment-Focused Family Therapist in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. She is a Registered Counsellor (RC) and a Clinical Member registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).

Wendy provides discernment counselling to couples who are ambivalent and at a cross-roads in their relationship.

She has much experience helping youths, adults, couples and families having worked in public, private and community settings over the past twenty years. In addition to her counselling work, Wendy has been part of a team conducting marriage preparation courses. She and her husband have been teaching Communication and Conflict Resolution for most of these years. However, last year they expanded their module and renamed it Principles for Successful Marriage. She enjoys a shared vision with her husband in mentoring and journeying with newly-weds. She is passionate in helping couples get a taste of heaven on earth and is convinced that more energy has to be poured into strengthening marriages so that families can be systemically strengthened.

Wendy is a Prepare Enrich certified facilitator and facilitator of Torn Asunder (Affair Recovery Programme). She was also trained in the Developmental Model of Couple Therapy. She is an EMDR trained therapist and also had training in Trauma-Informed Approach for Problem Behaviour. She also has an interest in TEAM CBT and has also conducted numerous parenting workshops.

She has many interests including baking, gardening and recently started CrossFit. She has two grown-up children, one of whom is married.

Wendy speaks conversational Mandarin and the Hokkien dialect, but is more comfortable in conducting therapy in English.
