Max is a Clinical Psychologist in Singapore who graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology. He subsequently completed his Master of Psychology (Clinical) at National University of Singapore and University of Melbourne (Joint Degree Programme)

He previously worked as a Senior Clinical Psychologist at Sengkang General Hospital. He has experience in helping adults with a variety of mental health conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, addictions, and somatic symptom-related disorders. His work also includes couples therapy using the Gottman Method and comprehensive psychological assessment for adults.

Max is committed to helping his patients build meaningful, rich, fulfilling lives that they can say yes to. He believes in developing individualised management plans for his patients and draws from a range of therapy modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. As an experienced mindfulness practitioner and trained mindfulness teacher (Oxford Mindfulness Centre), he regularly integrates mindfulness-based strategies into supporting his patients. 

Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, he enjoys making and drinking coffee, listening to music and reading. He also meditates daily for self-care. Having served as a Commando and pursued various sports throughout his life, including representing Singapore in cricket, Max continues to prioritise physical fitness and regular exercise.

Max provides therapy in English and Mandarin (basic).
