Zack graduated from University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology degree, and subsequently with a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from James Cook University (Singapore). Upon graduation, he has spent years working in the public healthcare setting, overseeing both inpatient and outpatient scenarios.
In his therapeutic practice, Zack manages a broad range of mental health concerns including Personality Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). With a special interest in Personality Disorders, Zack works closely with clients to explore the complexities of relational dynamics, navigate self-concept challenges, and practice emotional regulation and resilience.
Trained in a variety of psychotherapy modalities including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy, Zack employs an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from the abovementioned modalities to form a therapeutic format that caters to the clients’ individual needs.
As an advocate for self-agency, Zack strives to provide a warm and collaborative space for clients to explore personal challenges at their own pace and consequently, go on a shared journey to develop greater emotional awareness, healthier relationships, and a more cohesive sense of self.
Beyond therapy, Zack is experienced in conducting neuropsychological assessment for adults (e.g., RBANS) to help track and monitor the progression of neurological disorders such as Dementia.
Outside of his clinical work, Zack enjoys doodling and going on road trips with family and friends.
Zack provides therapy in English and Mandarin, and has a strong understanding of Teochew.
