Stephanie works with persons who suffer from anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. In particular, she believes in journeying with couples who are facing interpersonal issues, intimacy issues, as well as those dealing with infidelity. Having been on the receiving end of couples therapy herself, she is passionate about helping couples navigate relationship challenges and is sensitive to the needs of both parties. Stephanie’s other clinical interests include trauma, attachment issues, grief and loss.
Stephanie provides a safe therapeutic space for her clients through her compassion and unconditional positive regard, encouraging clients to explore and challenge the self in a way that feels most meaningful and relevant to them.
She believes in client-centred therapy and likes to walk alongside her client’s journey, providing gentle and objective guidance.
Stephanie draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring her treatment to meet the needs of her unique clients. She practices the Gottman method with her couples.
Stephanie enjoys being close to nature and cycling through nature trails. She used to be an adrenaline junkie, hang gliding, snowboarding and scuba diving, but now makes do with playing at the pool or beach with her two young boys.
Stephanie provides therapy in English and basic Korean.
